Quality Chemicals Limited (QCL) is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Uganda.
The company has been in operation since 1998, producing and distributing a wide range of high-quality
pharmaceuticals. Along the way, QCL partnered with an Indian company and established a factory in
Uganda which was named CiplaQCIL. Cipla however overtook QCL as a brand in terms of Top Of Mind Awareness.
QCL approached Adris Digital Africa, a leading PR agency in East Africa, to help differentiate CIPLA QCIL
from QCL, increase their brand awareness and reputation in the market.
Objectives:
Adris Digital Africa's main objective was to create a strong and positive brand image for Quality
Chemicals. The agency aimed to achieve the following goals:
Design a brand Guideline and Corporate identity for Quality Chemicals Limited.
Design a website.
Increase brand awareness and recognition among target audiences
Improve QCL's reputation and positioning as a leading pharmaceutical company in East Africa

Strategy:
Adris Digital Africa designed a brand Adris Digital Africa designed a brand guideline, complete with a
revamp of the logo. On presentation, it was agreed that the logo would get a slight refurbishment, along
with the development of a complete brand guideline with brand guidelines.
We then designed a website (Link here) for the company and then set out to create an awareness plan.
After this, we developed a comprehensive PR campaign for Quality Chemicals Limited that included
various tactics to achieve the set objectives. The agency used a combination of traditional and digital PR techniques to reach the target audience effectively. The following are some of the strategies employed:
Media Relations: Adris Digital Africa leveraged media relations to increase the visibility of Quality Chemicals in the media.
The agency used press releases and media pitches to secure coverage in top-tier and relevant industry publications. Adris Digital Africa also arranged interviews and media appearances for QCL's executives to showcase their expertise and build credibility.

The focus was on educating the public about the four business units of Quality Chemicals Limited which were Crop Health, Human Health, Animal Health, and Pharma. Content Marketing: Adris Digital Africa created high-quality content, including graphics design, blogs, articles, and
infographics, to educate the target audience about QCL's products and services. The agency also shared this content online to reach a wider audience.
