Branding Case Study
Kuoga, approached us to help them develop their brand identity, including their name, logo, and packaging. This case study details the process we went through to achieve these goals.
Background
Kuoga is a new company that specializes in bath sponges. Their goal is to provide customers with a luxurious and indulgent bath experience that leaves their skin feeling soft, smooth, and rejuvenated. They approached Adris Digital Africa because they wanted to create a strong brand identity that would help them stand out in a crowded market.
Brand Identity
Our first step was to develop the name of the brand. We wanted something that would be easy to remember, but also convey the luxurious and indulgent nature of the product. After several rounds of brainstorming and market research, we settled on the name "Kuoga," which means "to bathe" in Swahili.
Once we had the name, we moved on to designing the logo. We wanted something that would be elegant and sophisticated, but also playful and fun. We went through several iterations before settling on a design that features a crown symbol of a flower blossoming and an easy-to-read font for the word mark. The logo is primarily white and gold, which conveys luxury and indulgence, while the blossoming ages add a playful touch. We added the tag line; Exfoliating Baths, because the bath sponge is a naturally harvested plant that scrubs.
Packaging
With the brand identity established, we turned our attention to designing the packaging for Kuoga's products. We wanted something that would be eye-catching and visually appealing, while also conveying the quality and effectiveness of the product. We settled on a design that features the Kuoga logo prominently on the front, with a clean and modern design that highlights the natural ingredients used in the product.
Results
Overall, we are thrilled with the results of our work with Kuoga. By developing a strong brand identity, designing eye-catching packaging, and creating a user-friendly website, we were able to help them establish themselves as a player in the crowded market of bath products.
